Orunodoi’ or Arunodoi Scheme 2.0 is a news cheme of Government of Assam to be launched on 2nd October 2020. ‘Orunodoi’ scheme will provide Financial Assistance of Rs. 830 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme to around 17 Lakh Families in the state. The Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme will start from 10th April, 2023. Women being primary caretaker of family are kept as beneficiaries of the scheme.
However, through Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme the Assam Govt has decided to provide the benefits to the Widow, Divorced Female, Unmarried Female, Separate Female, Divyangjan, Transgender, Destitute, Living on Alms and Household having any member who is dwarf or ailing from Cerebral Palsy or Thalassemia or Hemophilia or Leprosy or Autism Spectrum Disordered citizens of Assam.
The Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme Beneficiary will get Rs. 1,250/- every month in their Bank Account Directly through DBT. The Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme was launched by the Assam Govt forCitizen of Assam on 14th December 2022. In Orunodoi 2.0 the State Govt will add another around 10.54 Lakhs of new beneficiaries. After addition of fresh beneficiaries the total number of beneficiaries will hit the mark of 27 lakhs.

runodoi Scheme 2.0
Orunodoi Asoni 2.0 will benefit around 27.77 lakhs of Eligible women in the State. And each Beneficiary will get 1000 Rupees per month on the very first date of Every Month. Orunodoi Scheme 2.0 will provide financial assistance of Rs. 1000 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer to 27.77 lakh Beneficiaries by the end of April 2023.
The Assam Orunodoi 2.0 Scheme covers the Expenses for Medicines for taking care of Health needs which is 400 rupees per family, Rs. 200 per family given to provide a 50% subsidy for the 4 Kgs of Pulses of a Family, 80 rupees are given as the 50% Subsidy for 4 Kgs Sugar, 150 rupees are given for the Fruits & Vegetables and Rs. 170 are given for the Essential needs. And this amount is Consolidated to Rs. 1000 per month for a family.
Arunodoi 2.0 Check List 2023
The Government of Assam has released the beneficiary list for the Orunodoi Scheme, and those selected will receive funds via Direct Benefit Transfer to the bank account of the nominated woman in the family. Applicants can view the district-wise list of beneficiaries in the table provided to see if they have been selected for the scheme.
